 Tourture & Trauma exhibition · Crossing Borders, an exhibition of photography created 
 by Patterson High School Students, in partnership with 
 VisionWorkshops · Family-oriented films about refugees and immigrants · RYP and Friends’ talent show, 
 Talents from Around the World! · Meet representatives from Baltimore refugee and 
 immigrant social service organizations to learn 
 more about refugees and immigrants in Baltimore. The Refugee Youth Project is a Baltimore City Community College program that provides after school academic support and art enrichment programming to Baltimore refugee youth. For the past four years, the Walters has partnered with the RYP to enhance programming through field trips to the museum and outreach projects. To celebrate the end of another successful year of partnership, the RYP and the Walters present International Family Day. Celebrating 2010 and the Chinese New Year of the Tiger Sunday, February 14, 2010 2:00 p.m. Sculpture Court Free Kick off the Chinese New Year at the Walters! With beating drums, cymbals and ringing gongs, The Johns Hopkins University Lion Dance Troupe will herald the Year of the Tiger (“tigers” were born in 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986 and 1998). Traditionally, the Lion Dance promises good fortune, which the Walters celebrates for a second year as part of Exploring Asia: Connecting Art and Community, an ongoing series of museum education programs investigating the arts of China, Japan and India. The Walters Art Museum is located on MTA bus routes 3, 11, 61, and 64.
